The Early Achievement Award recognizes members who have distinguished themselves in the early years of their CPA career, with a particular emphasis on professional accomplishment. Presented to a member in good standing within their first ten years of membership, the award celebrates outstanding achievement and an ongoing commitment to excellence in both professional and community life.

Chartered Professional Accountants of Prince Edward Island is pleased to recognize Colin Beck, CPA, CFA as the recipient of the Early Achievement Award.

Colin’s career reflects a strong combination of professional excellence, leadership, and service. He began his career in public practice with ArsenaultBestCameronEllis in Charlottetown before transitioning to the investment advisory industry with Richardson Wealth. Today, in his role as Investment Advisor and Associate Portfolio Manager, Colin works with clients to align investment strategy, tax planning, and long-term capital allocation decisions.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Colin has made meaningful contributions to his community and the profession. He is Past Chair of the PEI Literacy Alliance, a past member of the CPA PEI Board of Directors, and currently serves as Treasurer of the Charlottetown BJJ Society, where he also teaches Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He also teaches in the MBA program at UPEI and has contributed to CPA PEI outreach initiatives through career panels, high school presentations, and one-on-one mentoring of future CPAs.
